should i take DD up to the hospital?

since yesterday arvo she has had a temp it is slowly going up even with panadol it is up to 38.4 now. she is sleepy all the time, she cried all night in her sleep last night and she is off her food.

Would pay to get her checked out for peace of mind.

38 is still not "scary" in so much as its not red alert levels, but the fact that it is not responding to panadol would have once had me right at the hospy. The nepean uses iboprufen to see if it responds to that before anything else, so if there is no contraindication to using iboprufen, then its worth a shot to see if it can arrest the fever.

well i took her up and she has a middle ear infection.
after sittin for 5hrs in the waiting room. she was hysterical by the time we got to see the doc.
