    thanks ladies, trying to think positive, but my stomach is in knots feel like throwing up.. i'm off to the dr's now, i will let you know how i go.

    Hope your appt went well hun, nothing worse than finding something like that. A lot of the time it turns out to be nothing you need to worry about.

    Hope your appointment went better than you expected.
    I'm getting a mole/lump cut out of one of my toes soon and it freaks me out a little too TBH.

    hi ladies, well apparantly she thinks its a varacose vein, I just googled varacose veins and it doesn't look anything like that . I suppose at least she didn't say it was something bad.. but it definately doesn't look like a varacose vein at all. do you think i should get a second opinion?

    Its hard to explain, but this lump I have is kind of like a swelling that is about the size of 1/4 of a lemon, there are no bits coming and going in different directions like a varacose vein, its just one large, smooth swelling if that makes sense?? when I look at my leg at a certain angle, you can see an obvious diformity. You can't see any veins there either... what do you think? It does ache a bit and has been aching since sunday, like a dull ache.

    hmmm......if you're worried and not happy with the GP's opinion, i would get another. no point in you being stressed about it, hope you get a better answer soon xoxo

    If you are still concerned and unsure about the diagnosis than getting a second opinion is a good idea. Hope you can get some answers
