Swine Flu - if your child was sick and in a swine flu area

Thanks, we aren't in melbourne we are in nsw. The main thing that is worrying me is that DS has developed stomach pain and vomiting and hasn't eaten in 24hrs. He doesn't normally get vomiting with a flu virus. He doesn't have a temp, but feels hot. I am going to ring health direct and see what they say .

BTW, I don't see swine flu as "just a flu", it has the potential to mutate with the normal flu which peaks in july and kill a lot of people, this is why they are quarantining people.

A lot of schools are telling children to stay home with even the sniffles, which isn't normal so I would say yes to be on the same side get tested.
