Ok, so not too sure whether I should put this in another thread or not....
Its a simple question, whats the go with chocolate and AF?
I mean I was doing so well, chocolate was virtually out of my life, my diet and exercise were winning. Then today, af arrives and she brings with it, this amazingly strong craving for chocolate.
For me the craving kicks in several days before AF blows in. Apparently women have a slightly higher need for calories around this time, so it's common to crave extra carbs and/or fat or CHOCOLATE which is the perfect combination of both. Sorry, not very scientific explanation...
I always crave chocolate the day or 2 before AF - that's usually what triggers me thinking "oh yeah, here it comes". No idea why but the need for extra calories makes sense as I always get extra tired around that time so extra energy is defintiely required!
