it sounds quite scary ... my dad and uncle have vertigo . i hope its not hereditary ...
sometimes i can just be sitting and doing nothing and i become aware of the ringing , then it gets louder and louder and louder untill i cant hear voices properly and my ear feels full and if i turn my head everything whooshes past like im spinning...
i think i may just have to see a GP .

one test involved electrods on my head,i was placed in a chair in a pitch black room and spun around i had to keep my eyes open,it was horrible, another was flushing water into my ears. menieres in through my family, i believes its more a male disease but the females in my family get it, and there isnt anything you can take either
ive pretty much grown out of the menieres, when i was retested at 22 it was inconclusive. i dont get many dizzy spells any more i am carefull to avoid salt which trigger them for me, still have the ringing though
i wont tell you because it would put you off been tested!
