I need to get this out!
Argh why does it take so long to get a diagnosis!
ive had to take so many sick days from work my boss is really putting the pressure on and i feel my job is on the line but its taking forever to figure out whats wrong with me im so exhausted, dizzy, short of breath etc...
Ive just had to recover from 3 years of Postnatal depression then i get hit with Uterine, bowel and bladder prolapses and then find out i have Ehlers Danlos/ Joint hypermobility sydrome were slowly getting closer and might be chronic fatigue syndrome but i have an echocardiogram tomorrow to rule out heart problems
Honestly i feel like im just hanging in there and it annoys me that i feel like im failing my family and work
I'll get results on Monday I ended up dropping the kids and off to my appointment before coming home and sleeping 2.5hrs before my exam I was absolutely wrecked
im better today just the normal exhaustion and breathlessness poor DH has the bug now now im struggling to care for him and the kids, I had to cancel my Dr app yesterday i couldnt even sit up lucky my inlaws could look after the kids for half a day, i have a uni exam tomorrow morning (which ive barely studied for) and the kids will be at daycare so i can rest. Then thurs morn ill have a 24hr holter monitor fitted but im not really expecting any abnormal results from hear studies its just to rule out.
I feel like im going crazy i feel sick all the time but all the tests are negative and by all medical standards so far im normal so thers no explanation
There has to be an explanation for your breathlessness? Did you have the results from the ultrasound? Have you had respiratory function tests? It must be so awful to be feeling so unwell with no explanation, maybe see someone else for a second opinion? , hugs.
I saw another dr and as soon as i saw him i knew he would be no help he started arguing with me as if i was an idiot and said there was nothing wrong and he was so rude!
Im not stupid I have an advanced diploma in Pathology and have been working in a hospital lab for 6 years and studying my registered nursing
one thing we have drummed into us in nursing is if a person is in pain only the patient can say how much pain their in you cant assume they arent in pain but here everyone is assuming im fine just because my vitals are normal, they keep blaming it on me being a tired mother
i really need to leave work to rest and recover but i cant without some way to survive financially centrelik would just cut short for us.
