hmmmm, i guess i'll jump in here and try to help with motivation! and of course, it will help me with my slack days when i'm too busy to drink - can't very well spur everyone if i'm being a slacker myself!
better go find a bottle of water, only up to half a litre today...
i'm thinking the same Sarah - i'm about to start painting again, so figure a decent swig evey time i have to move the ladder, i'll have another litre and a half before bed easily!
Oh, I so need to do this!! Mind if I join you? Ever since I stopped work 8mths ago and became a SAHM, I'm so bad with remembering to drink even a gls a day. I'm about to do a health kick with a p/trainer too so really need to get on the water wagon
So today - NIL .......runs off to get litre of water
Bec - i vaguely remember reading somewhere that you should have a minimum of 2L of water per day (no idea what that is in pints!) - and if you are drinking other stuff, you should drink the equivalent in water to cancel out the extra work your body has to do to process it (like the sugars in juice)
i figure aiming for 2L of water is a good start though
i've even managed to talk DH into taking up the challenge - will be interesting to see how long that one lasts..
I found a 1 litre bottle of water in Woolies the other day (98c - woo hoo) and it makes it so much easier to count your intake than the 600ml bottle or individual glasses. Can easily get to 2-3 with that one.
