i'm much the same tanya - if DH wants a drink - even if my water bottle is beside me - he's got to get another cup!
Yesterday - 2.5lt
Today - Nothing yet
Ok this is me joining in.... i saw this thread yesterday and guessed what it was all about and said to myself: "you need to do that" (BFing). I haven't drunk much today... so I'll start properly tomorrow. I also drink 2 cups of coffee per day which I think is very dehydrating but i can't kick the habit :( I'm forever telling DH to drink more water because he suffers from cracked lips etc so this will make me take a bit of my own medicine... thanks for the inspiration Sarah :)
welcome Bathsheba!!
Anytime Bath :)
Ok been doing not too bad yet, sorta lost count as i was at school and used my coffee cup so think i added up properly... at 1.5L and about to have some more. Ditto on the peeing thing.. had to run out of class twice to toilet, lucky kids were busy :)
Hehehe how great but please dont shout although you proberly should!!!!
After going through OHSS, ive managed to drink a mear 600ml since ive been back at work today and boy oh boy are the headach kicking in
lou, i won't shout - will just whisper this quietly...
what are you doing to yourself hun??
hmmmm, you need to keep up the fluids hun - hopefully remembering tonights headache will remind you tomorrow to keep drinking
take care hun
No shouting Lou, just a reminder that tomorrow is a new day :) I try to keep a water bottle with me at all times so I'm constantly reminded, maybe try that?
I do too but its always full - working in childcare you are ALWAYS on the go, my co - worker says when the kids drink - i drink as we offer them water ALL day but just cant get into the habbit
I say oh i'll just do ........then have a drink and before i know it im in my car guzzeling
hmmmm, so do you carry your mobile at work hun? maybe i need to msg/prank call you every half hour to remind you to have a swig... LOL
I just drank 250ml reading this last page. NOthing else yet today (it's not 11am yet, DD is still sick and i've been phoning B&B's all morning trying to book DP and me a weekend away...) but i'm about to have a coffee - i SO hear you BATH. We're pretty similar sometimes. Maybe you're the Australian me - or am i the British you?
B
Blah..have been sick all day, all blocked up n stuff & should'a been even better with my water today for that reason, but *sigh*, have had about 600mls I think.
Better luck tomorrow......my skin is soooo dry too. Is anyone getting shocking static with this dry winter weather? Hubbie & I keep getting nasty static shocks when we get out of the car.
I have finished mine (maybe a small glass before bed)... 2L's ... Pretty good i think for my first day... 2L's is going to be my target for each day
Just wondering what water u drink..... tap or bottle????
I'm bottle - hate the taste of tap
bottled all the way hun!
we have a neverfail dispenser with the 15L bottles.. can't deal with tap water
hi there, I think I will join as well, if you don't mind. I am pretty good on week days as I keep my water bottle on my desk, but weekends....ahhhhh, I can't seem to drink anywhere near enough! Today, well my water bottle holds 750ml and I drank two, so not too bad!
Not so good here. A glass of water before school, another at school and one litre since I got home. Will need to try harder tomorrow. Could probably drink another glass before bed...
However, I did find those 1L bottles of water at the IGA today - maybe that will make it easier! Tomorrow's the new rehydrated me! :D
LOL Hoobley... nah, you're better than me ;) I'm so erratic, I say one thing and do another... take this water challenge for example: I know it's a brilliant idea but I'll probably just keep getting distracted... I need things to be shoved in my face all the time... my kids are good at that so they make sure their needs are met! However you are right in one regard: I am not what you'd call a typical Aussie... even though I was born here my heart is in Europe/UK.... my DH is much the same. ETA: Oh and Edinburgh is my favourite city in the UK... Not just saying that ;)
Loula I sooo know what you mean about it being hard to drink when working in a childcare environment: you NEVER stop! it's such a full-on job that even going to the toilet has to be planned... you can't just leave little kids in the room by themselves... you have to wait until the another staff member can relieve you and that might take a while... so doing a water challenge would be extra challenging in that job! I'll be cheering you on girl! :)
