I've always had an idea about the way that I wanted to parent my child(ren). I just didn't realise there was a name for it.

Attachment parenting!!

Just finished reading Dr Sears Attachment Parenting book and it's amazing. He sounds like such a lovely gentle man!

I do all of the things in there except "wear" my baby. I do feel that she needs her space.

I didn't know there was a name for it either until I discovered BB.

Oh - and you may still baby wear you know - if she gets irritable and doesn't want to be put down, its very handy to pop them in a carrier and go about your day - its good for them to see things from your level and they usually fall asleep pretty quickly

DH "wears" her, they both love it. I do carry her round the house and take her with me when we do housework and stuff, she loves that too.
