I'm a good mum because I get up to DS at 2am and sing to him for an hour and a half instead of yelling at him to go back to sleep, which is what I really wanted to do

Sleep is over-rated anyway lol

Ok, I'm a good mum cos I let DS have m & m's in the car on the way home from daycare cos otherwise he will fall asleep and the tanty that he wakes up with really sucks.

Ummm... I let the kids paint inside and then wash off the paint from the floor.

Ummm... I know that the sleep deprivation won't last forever so I keep having babies just to make it seem like it does

Mel you're one of the very best mothers I 'know', just funny how others see these important things in us yet its hard for us to see it in ourselves!

I am a good mum because-
¤ I feed DS to sleep for every nap and hold him until he wakes up even though my arm is killing me and my hand has had pins and needles for the last 30mins, just so that he will get a decent sleep.
¤ I bring DS into bed with me at 4am and put up with DF whining about how he cant sleep properly, even though DS isn't even on his side of the bed and I'm right on the edge.
¤ even though 5 out of 7 days a week I just want to curl up into a ball and disappear, I drag my sorry butt up out of bed for him
¤ I worry when he's sick
¤ My heart shatters when he cries
¤ I forget everything and everyone when he laughs
¤ I would do anything and everything to make him happy and keep him healthy
¤ I love him with everything I have and try not to take one second with him for granted.

I'm a good mum because when Term 3 started I resumed Playgroups with DD - even though DS was less than a week old, she needs stimulation and interaction so we were back into it...

I'm a good mum because I get up to both of them, whatever the time, no matter that I just got the other one to sleep, because I don't believe in "tough love"...

ever wonder why they're cute? it's their defence mechanism

i also wanted to put, that DH is a good dad because
he works long and weird hours so i don't have to go back to work and so J can have all the things he needs
He'll take J during the evenings so i can have a peaceful shower, and sings to him (i'm listening to them now - snuck into the comp room to check up on you lot heh)
he'll get J up for me in the mornings on weekends and bring him to me so I don't have to get up XD

XP is a good dad because if it werent for DD he wouldnt take his bipolar meds
because he rings me and says he misses DD and when can he see her next
because although me and him are not together and dont always see eye to eye, he is absolutely besotted with DD and is a fantastic dad
