It's funny, because after DS I kinda thought all babies were like that at the start
I'm glad you're chilled about it and enjoying your baby Epacris
Thanks so much for all your lovely kind comments.
Beema, the feeding yes, so different this time for me too. When our GP was checking him over he said, “So what are his feeding patterns like?” and I said “I have absolutely no idea how often or for how long he feeds. I just feed him when he’s hungry”.
We went to PIL for mothers day lunch today and he was crying and fussing as usual and MIL was carrying him around patting and bouncing him. Then she decided that he was tired and needed to go to sleep and she was going to put him to bed. Anyway, I just sat back and thought, oh well, I’ll just wait and see how this goes (rather than leaping up and snatching him back like I wanted to). Anyway she put him in bed and he screamed the house down for about 30 seconds before she couldn’t stand it anymore and picked him up again (even I’ve let him cry for longer than that if I’ve had to do something, like tend to one of the other kids, stop the dinner from burning, etc). I just love these grandparents that talk so tough and then just follow their instincts and comfort their babies.... as you do!![]()
