where does your co-sleeping bub sleep during the day?

I've been co-sleeping for the week since I've been home from hospital with my new baby, and during the day I've been putting him just in the lounge room (where I am) on a 'my little bed' on the floor, or in a bassinet next to the lounge. It seems a bit unnatural for me to put him somewhere by himself to sleep, even though I know its the way its 'normally' done in our culture, so I didn't think anything of it really. Until my sister and a friend visited the other day, came in and said oh so where is he? while looking up the hallway, and when I said he's just here and pointed at the floor next to the coffee table.. the looks on their faces was pretty much surprise/shock. He sleeps perfectly fine with all the noises going on and the daylight coming in, and I like that he's so close that I can hear and see him easily. So I suppose I'm just curious to see where other night time co-sleepers put their sleeping babies in the daytime...
