white spot

I have noticed few white spots(light white color) on my baby’s hips ..she is 8 months…only 3-4 spots maybe one has increased but not sure…when v pressed on it, it doesn’t go away…
Im thinking it might be a calcium or iron deficiency… her weight is 9 kg, height : 69cm, head circumference : 43cm…her doc says its not of any iron or calcium deficiency..she suggested v shud wait for few days..sometimes these kind of spots dissolves itself
if they don’t dissolve..she will guide us good skin specialist…and only skin specialist can answer abt it..

And I use cloth nappy for her..after each wee I cleaned her with a warm damp cloth and let her bottom dry…v use diapers rarely ven she go outside…so its sure white spots r not of nappy rashes..

If anyone else has seen anything like this and if it is normal...
Please guide me…

It could be a pigmentation thing and thats nothing to worry about. Are they just flat white patches? I would get a 2nd opinion to put your mind at ease. My son has a few light patches and they are nothing to worry about. Good luck.

Hi. I have a 8 months old daughter and she has one white spot on her cheeks and some white spots (2-3) on her bums. For your kid, what did you find out from doctors? Are the white spots gone now?.. Eager to hear from you soon.
