Default Effect of Stress on BSL's

    Hi,

Have just had a horrible time at home in the last week (Son has been in hospital for 6 days), and although I have been trying to follow my low GI diet, I'm finding my BSL's have been around 8 - 8.8 for the last week.

Up till now I have been able to control them fairly well (4.5 - 6).
Wondering if stress has any effect on the levels, or if I should be reviewing my food intake????

    Hi jojozep

    Sorry I missed this poat.
Yes stress can increase your BSL. This is caused by one of the many drugs that your body produces during stress. ( I cant remember the name of it)
