I have to test my wee each time I go and record if there is any glucose or protien. I've got diabetes and the glucose test has always been negative though I have had traces of protien. My diabetes was diagnosed through a blood test because my keytones were 3+++ whatever that means. So I didn't have to do the yucky GTT.
