Thanks for your replies that makes me feel betterI was at the GP just to get a prescription (unrelated to pregnancy) and he commented on my swelling (which is quite bad) and checked my BP (which is normal) and then wanted to check my urine (which was also normal) and blood sugar although he knew I didn't have gestational diabetes. I did explain to him I had eaten lollies within half hour before coming to the doctor and he seemed a little concerned and said to let the hospital know.
I don't think I've had any symptoms of GD I hadn't even given it another thought since I passed the test at 28 weeks, I'm going to the toilet a lot but I guess that is normal for anyone at 35 weeks![]()
