Thought I would just let you know what happened to me, I had GD (injections 3 times a day) and needed to be induced at 39weeks 5 days due to sugars going a little high and low.

Anyway I had to have two different lines hooked up to me while in labour, 1 incase my sugar levels rised during birth and 1 for lower sugar levels. Has this been discussed with you?? Also has your GD specialist outlined all the risks etc regarding GD as I am a little concerned that you mentioned home birth.

I suppose it all comes down to how bad your GD is as well.
