My budget is $20 per present tops. Each boy has 2 teachers so if I end up paying $20 each it's $80 all up.

Becca's biscuits. She has FB page. I don't do foods because you can never be sure they will like them and this year especially with one gym bunny and one very slender teacher I suspect they wouldn't be eaten.

Thanks for all the great idea. Every year I have to start a new thread because I suck at thinking of presents. I really should just bookmark it and bump it lol.

I love the mani/pedi idea, or a mini massage ... some sort of "experience".

My mum was a teacher for a while back in the day, and so I'm aiming to steer clear of tea towels, chocolates, shortbread etc. That being said, food is always going to get eaten ... and I personally like those smelly soaps and bath oils and stuff.

A fave prezzie of that ilk of mine was a crabtree & evelyn handcream. Love it.

I like to think that the opportunity to teach my child all year is present enough

But just in case it isn't, I usually go for quality jams, coffees, tea or hot chocolate. I also bake mince tarts and/or shortbread so they get them. Last year DD and I made some reindeer biccies. Ill see if I can find a pic.

I'm not sure Mr TattooedBoxer will enjoy a mani-pedi but I guess you can never be sure.

Every year the kids give their teachers a letter that they write themselves. Have done this since kinder. And every year it makes the teachers cry. In it they say one thing they loved learning, one thing they like about their teacher, one thing their teacher does that makes them feel special and something else but I can't remember. We di it for the kids to keep as a keepsake of their teachers, and for the teachers to cherish. Every teacher has said to me that it means more to them than any material possession because as teachers they don't really get feedback
