Mine is into Warhammer 40K - so spends a lot of time building and painting the miniatures, as well as gaming with a group of our friends who also play. He's also into roleplaying games (mostly sci fi) so likes to write scenarios and plot campaigns etc.

Cycling - when I am on here he is on his Bicycle forum talking all things bike with like minded cycling folk.
And photography - and taking photos of bikes......

Both can be quite expensive too.

My DH is a ham radio operator so is forever tinkering with radios or searching ebay for parts and new radios.

Oh, and cleaning the garage is a hobby. He gets in the mood every few months and works in it for a couple of weeks (basically just moving the crap around) then loses interest again.

his website (about Victorian Railways), photographing (trains), going for drives (to spot old, disused trainlines), modelling (trains), going to exhibitions (model trains), his Facebook group (for train drivers), meeting friends (to talk about trains).

Plus cooking, getting into a lather about politics and reading Noam Chomsky so he can get into a bigger lather.

Golf, pub poker (though not so much recently), going to football and rubgy, watching soccer on TV and his fantasy football leagues (soccer and american football). Also cricket when in season. He watches a fair bit of teev, especially american sitcoms, which I hate. So he watches them while I'm on here.

None of these are particularly expensive. He's even a good gambler All very harmless and gets him out of the house, socialising and exercising. I'm the one who needs hobbies (does BB count as a hobby?)
