Hi Alligator's mum! I would suggest a big tub. DS got a big tub for his 2nd birthday & now DD is playing with it. He got the green tub (5507) from Big W. It looks similar to the 10555 set that I can see on the Big W website now.

Having a sad panda moment. Local toy shop doesn't have any more of the bakery so I can't help MD with her winter village. I know the Lego shop doesn't have any of the village pieces at all so can't ask him either

We got the post office from eBay mid year. Much cheaper cos less demand.

Lego man is going to try and source my missing village pieces from Lego for me. He is awesome!
He is such a Lego geek, but lovely. And treats repeat customers extra nicely. I love being called trouble when I walk in the door...

Gah. I am NEVER shopping at myer again. NEVER. I gave them a second chance. They failed. And poor DS is not getting a coast guard patrol boat.

    Re: Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

Ooh thanks BG. FX I can get it. I have sent a complaint to Myer. It really shouldn't be that hard not to oversell. You get 100 items. You sell 100 items. It's sold out. Sorry customer #101, it's sold out. Not You get 100 items, sell 110, take people's money and not deliver. Yes they refund it but geez. They've had it for all this time. It's "2 to 3 days" to process the refund. And in the meantime, I've not looked elsewhere believing I already had it. Deep breaths. Calm down Rowellen.

I think the light has to be pushed right down so the grey cap piece clicks on to the stick bit (very technical names there!). The stick bit has a ridge in it and the light goes over the top of it. I'm not quite sure exactly as I'm at work and DH did that bit.

ETA: BG, it's Kmart that has it. $10 cheaper than myer anyway! I'll go at opening time if I can. Depends when DH gets home from work.

Aaah ok yup. I get ya! Ill see if I can get to it while she is busy and get it to lock in. Last years light is prettier lol

ETA: my sincerest apologies to anyone that has the misfortune of reading this post in its original form.
I could try and make excuses but honestly I don't know what on earth was going on when I posted. It was just pure garbage!

    Light fixed!

Off to Lego shop tomorrow to pick up layby with nieces presents in it. Over to big w to pick up another layby I think. Coles to pick up the dolphin cruiser DVD. All on the provision I get a hell of a lot better over night. I feel very ordinary. Don't even want to head to lounge to upload pics of advent calendars today. Sigh.

I've seen them on eBay for around 33 plus post. Rick will have them in store hopefully this week. He is selling them for 30. You know the drill. I'll grab if you need me too. Just message when they show up on his fb feed

I'm feeling a little better but still not 100%. Huge day today. And dd has had a sore throat since the wee hours. I suspect there will be a Lego ish treat if we all survive today intact!

Yay! Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Hope you feel 100% soon.

I got the coastguard partol set at Kmart this morning. Co-operative kids, good traffic, easy parking, got exactly what I wanted and walked straight up to a register and even made it to work on time! Can't believe it. I feel much happier today. I also got the friends city park cafe set whoops. Anyway, better do some actual work

DD was quite impressed with the Lily mini-doll from the advent calendar. I thought I'd play a trick on her and see if she would notice if I swapped their hair over. LOL she got her cranky voice on and starting telling DH off thinking he'd done it! "Don't you ever do that again!" she said to him. He was quite bewildered as he had no idea I'd done it. I don't think she believed me when I told her I did it lol. She swapped their hair back and after that she was happy.

Went to pick up calendar. Well, two, cos I grabbed the one for ZF. Ended up buying the friends floor mat too. Well two of them too (cos its reversible so now she can have both sides all the time...). Waiting til alter to out calendar together. Dd is now somewhat unwell (stupid weather! Stupid colds!). We've watched the new friends DVD once and watching it again now...

Dh also found a city set with a caravan today. Which may have fallen in our shopping trolley and made it home...

    You just can't help yourself

THANK YOU for grabbing me one, DD is going to enjoy it.
Told DP and he shook his head, rolled his eyes and said "I think we can quit it with the lego stuff now"

Hmmmmm they love it though & have asked for it flat out!
