I want to try and make an advent calendar and found a cute tutorial online for this one
Looks rather difficult for a novice like me though!! lol. I think I'll give it a try anyway!

I could not agree with you more!
As someone who lives away from all but immediate family and who has a shift working DH the day itself is often not a typical christmas day, but bring on the warm weather and the happy hoilday spirit.

Lucky for me I'm in QLD so it's warm here already.

I agree, I love the holiday spirit! I love going to the shops and everyone is in such a good mood!

I love Xmas!!! We have 6 kids under 4 in the family and I have already done all their shopping. Now just the adults. Lol. We put the tree up on 1st of Nov instead of Dec. I bought new decorations in the sales last yr. Can't wait!!! Lol.

WOO my local Big W has Christmas trees! While I'm not into Christmas, religiously anyway, I love the spirit and the season. Everyone gets so much more relaxed, happier, giving, patient (sometimes anyway, except the mental nutters in the shops whacking people with Christmas angels if they go to close to the things they want )
