    Red face Christmas cards?

    Who writes out christmas cards?

I just bought some from the Oxfam shop but dont know if I can really be bothered writing them all up and sending them....so slack I know.
But they will probably just be thrown out after christmas.

Plus I would have to aks everyone for their addresses agin as i am so forgetful and have lost last years list.

Should I just suck it up and do them?

For the first time, this year I am actually organised! I have all the rellies addresses in my book and last night I started writing out a whole heap and sent off the interstate ones today. (feeling a bit chuffed really!)
I am guilty of buying lots, writing them out and then totally forgetting about the big pile sitting somewhere "safe" when I cleaned out my desk just before jacob was born, I found some from 3 years ago, stamps on and all.....

Yep, I'm thinking of making the effort this year... I have about 5 years of unused/unsent cards to use up! I figure that getting an actual letter/card is so rare for people these days that it will really make them feel Christmassy I say wait until the kids are in bed, pour yourself a nice drink (I'm thinking a Bailey's or two here) put on some Christmassy music, maybe light the vaporiser with a tea-light and start writing! "We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas...."

DH and I make ours. Its so personalised that the family keep them. For example, this is the last photo we used.

Much like Bath said, its a part of Christmas - its so traditional and its been so quickly phased out with email and FB. We make every effort to keep to the traditions we enjoyed as kids for our kids.

Mine are all written out and addressed and stamped - just waiting on some photos for some cards and then they will all be posted.

I love sending christmas cards - there is something special about recieving cards in the mail

yep - I love getting Christmas cards so I always try to send them. Last year I was heavily pregnant so couldn't be bothered making them like I usually do, and this year I have the clingon kid to deal with so I got some cool ones from the reject shop that you just add your own photo to.
I'm writing my list in the many many times I have to sit next to the cot with Nate....will probably write them and address them the same way lol.

I have a list in the back of my address book (my one really grown up possession - my "Friends & Family Organiser - address book, birthday calendar (just months and dates no years), christmas card list and something else in it!!)

I just add/subtract to each year as necessary

I started again last year and still have my list in One Note. This year I will make the effort to put the addresses all in one place, as I think there are a few I need to chase up again. Just need to decide what cards to get, thinking the RSPCA ones might be nice this year.
