next year dd will be in kinder and other activities, and i am kinda dreading feeling like i have to participate in activities (like halloween) i'm not really into.
I'm not into it either but DD's kinder is doing a halloween party today and she came home the other day asking if she could go 'trick or treating'. So clearly they have been talking about it in kindy. Thankfully she wasn't keen to dress up as anything scary and she made it quite clear that she wouldn't eat any 'scary' cupcakes lol! So she is going today as a fairy.

You don't have to participate in activities you aren't into but I wouldn't want my DD to feel left out either. I did say no to 'trick or treating', not my thing and I hope she doesn't ask to do it every year lol!
