Ok so this year is the first year with DD and I am writing out our Christmas Cards... most I have no issue with and are written as below
But now comes the point of this post... the cards to our parents. For every other year I have addressed the inside of the cards to our parents as "Mum & Dad" and signed off "T & K" but how do I know include DD on that one? Semantics I know but they aren't her Mum & Dad so that situation isn't correct... if I use Grandma & Grandpa then well they aren't mine & DPs grandparents so that doesn't work either. I don't want to write out two cards.Dearest X & Y, All the best for the festive season. Lots of love, T, K & C
I know this is a small thing but if I write mum & dad and then write DDs name on our fathers will be sure to point out that DD isn't their daughter and if I write grandma & grandpa and then include mine and DPs name they will point out they aren't our grandparents - argh!
So how Should I just write one out from DD or is there a way that I can include the three of us and address mine and DPs parents appropriately?
