men arent really that sharp LOL. They dont get hints, well i know my DH doesnt LOL! so you might get disappointed.
Hopefully he isnt as sharp as a bowling ball and actually gets the hint so you get a nice pressie!
I have picked out my ideal Valentines day present from Tiffany & Co, a gorgeous pair of dangly pearl earrings. DF has been putting me through a lot of ****e at the moment and i have next to no nice jewellery, so i think i am worth it.
Traditionally we scorn Valentine's day, but at the moment i think DF needs to pull out all stops and needs to wine, dine, romance and bling me a bit. Do you think he would get the hint if i leave the page open to them so next time he opens the laptop he finds it? Or am i going to have to be a bit more pointed with him?

Loverboy says: "nooooooooooo"
I figured I'd get a male's perspective, so I got him to read your post.
Maybe it's too subtle?
Mine would be oblivious. I have to tell him straight out what i'd like and keep reminding himotherwise i get nothing![]()
Buy them. Give them to him and tell him to givethem back to you for v-day. He should get the hint then. Otherwise not a hope!
Not if he's anything like my husbandI tell him exactly what I want or he has no idea. Even if I think I've dropped very obvious hints!
haha, you need to circle it, point arrows towards it and maybe hen he will get the idea![]()
Arrgh, he went straight to bed and didn't even look at the laptop! Grrr to men and not getting hints!
Today I went out and got DH some stuff for valentines day - nothing exciting, some new boardies, thongs, beach towel and sunnies (we are going to Noosa on 18th and he needs some new beach gear). And I put it all in a big impressive pearly white box ($4 from Reject Shop) and wrapped it in some red ribbon and a bow ($2 reject shop) and got a card... and then walked into the house with it, totally not hiding it.... and DH is "whats that?" and I go, "oh just your valentines day pressie."
hahahahaha so now he is petrified because of the big impressive box and will sooooo go out and get me some jewellery tomorrow! sneaky hey?!
yeah, i think you would have to tell him, otherwise he might just not get it one bit!
Hahaha, LOVE IT! Too late though, i opened up the laptop next too him and said this is what i would love for a combined valentines day + 9 year anniversary present! He replied with - what do you need THAT for! Got to love it, hey. As if it has to be a present i 'need'...
He did finish the conversation by asking where their shop is, so that is a promising sign! not going to get my hopes up though, i will probably end up with breakfast in bed and a sleep in and be extremely happy about that instead!
I'm instilling the idea into the kids. They can never keep a secret. Hoping that they will tell their daddy that mummy wants flowers sent to her work.
DH asks me that too, why I need whatever it is I want. That's not the point!! Silly man![]()
