Its almost Valentines Day...

It is almost upon us again.So are you organising anything special for a loved one this Saturday? Or do you think you are going to be the one to be spoiled? Are you excited about it or is it just another day of the year in your life?

I have organised a trip to a remote beach for the weekend so DH can surf his little heart out. Also a new CD of classical love songs to listen to. Ummm can't wait. I wonder what he has in store for me !

I'm 30 this year and I haven't had a romantic Valentines Day yet

DH and I initially got together on Valentines Day, so it's spesh for us anyway. i know he has a present for our "anniversaries" but not sure if i'll get it on Saturday or on our wedding anniversary next Wednesday...

i'm planning (if he's home - still don't know!) to make a roast dinner with all the trimmings, light all the candles that are around, and just enjoy each others company. we'll prolly watch a movie (so nothing toooo romanatic) and just be together. we were supposed to be going to Sydney which we had to cancel, so he might ask for Pizza instead!! if he does that, we'll have roast for wedding anni next week

DP always sends me flowers so I'm curious to see if he'll do the same this year I'm going to bake him some shortbread (his fave) and thinking about buying him some new aftershave and we are going to the outdoor cinemas. We can take DS with us to that. We felt guilty asking someone to babysit on Valentine's Day when most people just want to be with their loved one. So it's a family Valentine's for us

hmm not to sure if we will do anything really, never have done anything special, he has brought me flowers etc and thats been sweet but as far as going out together nope never done that, who knows maybe this year we will LOL

We did our Valentine's Day a couple of weeks ago. We went to the movies and saw Yes Man. I might get out MMB and send him a video but not sure if he will be able to recieve it.

looks like we got DS looked after so will be hubby me and DD which is ok..
i just got him some dvd's, i will cook something nice for dinner and then will have a bottle of something nice wont eb a late one as he si working on sunday and so am i

dont think i will get anything, money si a tad tight with all the renos and that all comes out of his wages and we just ahd to call in a plumber becaus eour sewer is blocked but just a nice cuddle and dinner and time alone is enough.. i ahev banned him from renoing sat night lol

Nope. Nothing. I was going to cook Shel her fav but I know I'll have to cook myself something special and I don't want to have to cook two meals. I've been the one to organise and spoil Shel that past few years so I am hoping this year she'll spoil me but I'm not getting my hopes up, she's pretty slack with stuff like that.

Its our 6th wedding anniversay on Saturday.
It took me till the following year to figure out Valentines day is the most expensive day to celebrate your anniversary, ah well we live an learn.
We are staying in the city on Friday night instead, dinner, buffet breakfast on Saturday morning.
We're going to the footy (romantic huh?) on Friday night, lucky for him its all for a good cause (bushfire fundraising).

I had planned a surprise picnic for DH at the beach, but it looks as though it will be raining... so now I am planning to have a picnic on our loungeroom floor with candles burning all around the room. DH has to work most of the day on Sat so it makes it easy for me to give him a surprise... I have no idea what he has planned for me.

Just another day here. I'm not real big on the hallmark festivals and after the bushfires I'm not really in a celabratory mood.
If DH wants to buy flowers and choccies he can send them down south.

my husband has made me lobster mornay every valentines since we have been together

dont know if i cna justify the cost of lobster now though! i think i'd be happy with a pasta and a cuddle

We are going away and I JUST CAN'T WAIT. We are going to stay in a cabin on a friends holiday property, or we can camp by the water if the weather is nice.
We are going to catch yabbies and go fishing and be lazy and snuggly.
