That sounds like a great idea! Your mum would be thrilled!

My parents now live in WA (my sister and I have been here 11 years) so it's really special (and still a novelty!) for us to have her here. The weather is going to be warm and sunny on Sunday so we are having morning tea at the beach (which also has a great playground for the kids ) followed by a BBQ lunch. Really looking forward to it.

As to what I'm buying her, I still have no idea! She is SO hard to buy for so will either pay for the new shoes she just ordered online yesterday or will get her a years subscription to Women's Weekly.

My mum passed away a few years ago and DH's mum lives about 3 hours away so have sent her a card. As for me apparently I have to decide what to do :/ I havent been told to get my own present so I think DH is organising that. Although last years present will be hard to top.

mum passed away 22yrs ago so will go to the cemetery to visit her. dh's mum doesn't 'do' mothers day (that's a whole other story) so dh is organising breakfast in bed for me and then depending on Melbourne weather we may go to the zoo with our little princesses
