There are a few ways depending on what computer and programs you have but you can also go to a photo printing place (eg Harvey Norman) and on their photo booths there are options for creating Christmas (or other occasion) photos using your picture. And I think it is 15c per photo!!

LOL I responded in another thread that I am waiting for the photos... what I meant was that I am waiting for my bum to get itself into gear and take the darn photo!!

We have 3 outfits for DD - a christmas dress in red, a reindeer onesie and a red and green fairy outfit - I am going to take pics in all three and then decide or use all 3 for different people

This is the pic I took for Christmas cards this year, I made them through the Big W online photo's.

    Christmas 09

We're currently living out of suitcases & our tree & decorations are in storage so I cant get good photos atm

BTW Sarah, I went through the old posts & saw you shared a christmas photo I took of Brianna 2 years ago (the link doesnt work anymore but I'm guessing it was the one of her holding the christmas bouble?) Thanks, I was chuffed to see you liked it enough to want to share it

    Christmas Card photo ideas

Have bought some of the christmas cards that you put your own photo in. I did it last year, dressed DD up in red and white and put a little santa hat on her and took some pics.
The year before I did our dog with a pair of reindeer antlers on his head.
This year I'd like to include DD & our dog, was thinking DD in her christmas pinafore with a santa hat, and the dog with antlers sitting behind/beside her. Am I crazy for even thinking about trying to get a nice photo with a dog and a 17 month old?!

What did you do for your cards this year?

I got a really lovely photo of DD and ordered my photo cards online. They just arrived today and are really lovely.

Can't wait to send them out!

I think if you can get the two of them to sit still then it's a fabulous idea!! xxxx

    That sounds so cute.

Maybe instead of getting them to sit together, dress them up and take a few pics of them playing.

Mine are a bit average, but after nearly an hour i was happy with anything. I know DD is blurry in one, but DS would not sit still. We've tried a few times at all times of the day, but he just doesn't want to have his photo taken so we'll just be grateful we got something.

Cheating this year, using a santa pic of the girls, santa is on the side and the girls are on the chair.. MASSIVE space above the girls so filled that in with writing (thanks BG) and getting them printed on photo paper.
