DD1 and I have made 25 christmas cards this year, im yet to send them, but i will. although i normally have a few left over that i never quite got around to sending. so i have cut down and just sending to a few.
I used to do a photo card of the kids but now I really feel they are a waste of money and paper and can't justify it. I do one of those elf yourself videos each year now and email it to all my friends with a message on the email.
ETA: I don't really care if I don't get any either, they just end up in a pile in the box or for craft for the kids.
I have always sent them but not cared if I receive any they end up in the bin or fireplace anyway. Usually I have them posted within the first week or two latest in Dec but this year I don't think I will send any out. Only because we are expecting and bub could come any day really so would hate to not include her name if she does arrive in time to get cards out .

I love receiving Christmas cards and have kept every single one, but never send any out![]()
I always do homemade ones (not expensive though) and I send them to people like my aunts and uncles who don't get presents but I think a homemade card is a step up from a bought one. I do enjoy sending them, but some years it does get a bit too much. Last year with morning sickness I managed to make about 30 but only ended up sending about 3!
This will be my first year sending them out - I'm feeling very festive this year![]()
I don't normally receive any (probably coz I never send them) but I absolutely love seeing all my nannas hung around the house - so I can't wait until we do get some and maybe start that tradition in our house![]()

I haven't given a Christmas card since I left school. Maybe I will in the future, could be something fun to make with ds when he's older. I love making things so I probably will. I couldnt care less if I received any though. I can see the appeal of Christmas cards yet I also think it's a bit of a waste of paper?
we do a family pic I print text on the pics when I go to phot shop and send that out butI dont get a lot in reply which makes me sad but I still sned them out
I love sending and recieving cards (of all kinds) so much I bought a card shop. LOL. I always try and have mine sent out by the end of the first week in December. This year is very exciting for us because we get to add DS's name to the card and we will also recieve lot's of cards with DS's name on it.
I always think it's nice to recieve something in the mailbox that isn't a bill or junk mail. It's makes people feel good when they open the mailbox and see that someone has thought of them with love.
Merry Christmas everyone!
My family are all well aware that I think cards are a waste of money, but I do send a few out to my grandparents and aunts/uncles because it is pretty much my only contact with them all year, so I send a card and a letter. I probably send 5 cards a year and receive less than that. I appreciate any contact from people but would much rather an e-mail that has saved paper, or a phone call which is much more personal imho.
I usually send them. I usually only send them to people who send them to me although there are a few who don't send them that I still send to. I have a list that I send to in my ribbon box. It's getting shorter every yearI don't do anything fancy. I buy the ones that are 50% off after xmas if I see some I like. I have put pics of DS in the last 2 years lots.
I like to receive them. It's fun. I don't really see it as a waste of paper as we recycle& DS loves the pictures.
Yep I have every year. I've whittled my rather long list down now to those I don't have great internet or phone connection with or those I particularly love. This year I'm only sending 10. We are also states away from the people we love.
I'm not particularly fussed about not getting them, but I do love to get cards in the mail. It's a lost art. I often used to send Mum nice little notes.
Just did mine this arvie and will post when I pick DD up.
