My friend is very crafty, so she made a photo frame for me to give to DP. It is a Geelong Cats frame with "Me and my Daddy" on it and a photo of the two of them.

I got DH a silver bracelet from DS.

This one, I took DS around the shops and I pointed to things and he would shake his heaad or nod and thats what we got. I took inspiration from the newsagents who are doing a 'dads bag' and we're bought a holographic gold bag and so far we've got a packet of mint biscuits, a can of pringles (well, the cheap version, called Mr Potato - DH actually prefers those over pringles anyways), Natural Confectionary Company Red Snakes and a brand new wallet (cause he's been looking for one)

Taking DS out again tomorrow before work and getting him to pick a couple more things out for him. It's not much, but the fact that DS picked every single thing in the bag out will mean alot to him.

For DH's first fathers day, I got some foot and handprints of DD's and put them in a frame with a photo of DD. He really appreciated that, but it didn't cost a fortune. Last year, I bought a canvas from the cheapie shops and DD paonted it - he now has a one off peice of art in his office I'm of the opinion that fathers/mothers day is definately an occasion when it shouldn't be about the money spent, but the thought thats gone into it. So something crafty is always good. hmmm, better get thinking on this years
