We are going away over the Christmas period from a few days prior until New Years. What do other people do when travelling at Christmas time and presents? Do you do them before you go? When you get back? Take them with and do presents on actual Christmas day? I would like to wait for the actual day, but the thought of hauling a couple of boxes of presents down when the car is already packed with bags of clothes, swimming gear, sleeping bags etc then bringing them all back again (hopefully with all the pieces)...

Do I just suck it up, make room for them and hope the kids don't see anything?
