We travelled air asia from Perth - Kuala Lumpur - Paris and paid extra for the seats that fold out to beds on the longest legs of the journey. We paid al up the same as for Singapore airlines or any other comparable ones seeing that we had to pay for those fold out beds. Don't think it was worth it.. The fold out beds were very hard, but you had more room and more possibility to change position. And less people were cramped into the area. Also the meals were included in these. The food wasn't that good, but I find that in general with airlines. I think the good thing about not getting free food and drinks is that people are using the toilets less and they were way cleaner than on any other flights I've been on... The big bummer was that if you had to wait for a connection flight (on the way back we had to wait 12 hours) you get your suitcase and have to lug it around, unless you pay for a locker. On the way back we were so exhausted, but we did manage to go into KL and fell half asleep on the tour bus going through town... (it took 2 hours and we didn't even get off once...) I'm flying KLM this time and found a really good ticket 600 dollars cheaper....
