Trinity Beach is about a 15-20 min drive to cairns itself so hope you are planing on a car unless you stay in the city you will have to drive everywhere I live here so I would stay in port as its more like a holiday.
have fun and dont forget your warm clothes are it can still be quite chilly up here even in sept and can be very windy near or on the beaches.
If you are going on any tours ask about local discount as some class local as all of queensland and if you dont ask they wont tell you. Cairns central is the shopping centre with Myer. Have fun
We stayed at a Big 4 holiday park called 'Club Coconut' and it was a great family destination. We had a self contained cabin. There's 2 large pools, jumping pillows, lots of swings, mini golf, tennis court, pool, table tennis, tv rooms, outdoor movies, massage, corner store and bike tracks for the kids.
Oh you have to go to Port Douglas, we got married at the Sheraton Mirage, MAGIC!!!! The whole resort was surrounded by a HUGE pool, like a big lagoon, the restaurant is yummy and it is so relaxing, Cairns is nice but Port D is a whole other world!!! Not cheap though, but spoil yourself. I am so jealous you are heading up there!!
He he, that's ok megs! I would have done the same thing seeing the title!
Hi Jodi, Yep that's the one. When we were at Stockland I was like hmmm, imagine if I hear someone calling out 'Nina' to their toddler. I wondered if I would be brave enough to say 'Hello, are you Jodi from Belly Belly?'
