my suggestion would be the Addison on Anzac or Parade Lodge in kensington, not too expensive and not far from the airport (maybe 10-15 minutes depending on traffic). Also a lot of places to eat in the area that you can walk to.

Thanks for the suggestions girls. I'm trawling through the hotels on wotif and have a few options to present to mum and dad (because they'll be paying)
