Bengal - Daylesford for the following (we've been there many times) - we were looking for something to do for a holiday that doesn't require taking 5 days off work - so that meant either less than a day car trip or a domestic flight. DS isn't a huge fan of long car rides so the location is great (plus if it is a disaster we can come home easily) and I didn't want to do a flight - I want to throw all our stuff into a car and not worrying about how much we are taking etc. We love the restaurants in Daylesford, the spa treatments, the little town and the scenery - plus there are a few towns close by that I want to explore.

Nai/Sloane - I guess I was looking for the easy way out in terms of avoiding research as there are a lot of places to look at on those sites - I wish I could search by cot/highchair availability as that would tell me that the place is very child-friendly. Sometimes when they say family friendly I think they are thinking of a larger group of adults getting together (with older children who won't fall down stairs).
