week long road trip + toddler - what do i need to remember???

Ok, so DH and I have done week long, multi-stop road trips together more than once - no biggie - but this is the first one we've done with DD and i'm trying to make sure i remember everything we need to take!

so, spam me - even the most obvious stuff! I'm having a complete brain fart (have done some serious damage to my back, so have been drugged for the past week and feeling useless!). we've not actually stayed overnight anywhere but home since DD's arrival...

HELP!

Have lots to do - drawing, dvd if possible, food, drink, toys.
Make sure you plan lots of stops at parks etc. I usually try and give the girls a new thing to do every hr or so unless they are watching a dvd...

Portacot in case where u stay doesn't have any! Lots entertainment for the road. Snacks. If she uses anything to help her get to sleep or comfort remember to pack it!

A chuck survival bag JIC she gets carsick. Towel, wipes, bottle of water, container to hold under her chin, spare plastic bag or 3! Keep it close at hand too in her footwell not in the boot

Speaking from experience???

i just said to DH that we need to remember stuff in case she gets sick - she is fine going from here to the other side of Melbourne, and never really whinged going up and down the mountain at home, but some of the roads are much more windy between here and canberra seeing we're going the "scenic" (aka 3 hour shorter) way lol

2 words DVD player. Best $250 we EVER spent! We were doing 16 hr days and it was awesome! We would always stop every 2 hrs at a park or Maccas for a play and food and a run around but when we were in the car the DVD was on and she was in heaven! We even stopped off in Sydney and purchased some new dvds for her.
