We flew to Singapore recently (July) with an almost 3 year old and a 7 month old. The EBM I had was fine, milk and baby food is totally acceptable however they will most likely want to see it, but all our water bottles were taken, the 3 year old's included. Thankfully we just had a Pump bottle for her so we bought another once we'd cleared customs.

We few internationally last December and had to empty the girls' drink bottles prior to going through customs, and then fill them again once we got to the departure lounge. Poor DH had to drink a LOT of water very quickly when we didn't think about it early enough ;-)

We travelled around Europe when DS was 12 months old and I was asked to drink some of his bottles at several airports. I asked in London why and was told it was to prove that the bottle didn't contain milk coloured explosive!!
