    Smile Melbourne hotels!

    Hi

We are off to Melourne for a week in September but having trouble deciding on a hotel...
Has anyone stayed in a fantastic hotel(not to expensive) which would be good for a toddler and a by then big pregnant lady!
Has anyone stayed in the Jika, have found what looks like a very nice room, deluxe spa room which will be good as the TV is placed so you can watch it from the spa so when Aaron goes to bed we can sit in it and watch TV with out it bothering him. Very good price $175nt but only thing is on trip advisor it has bad reviews. As this is going to be our last holiday the 3 of us we want it to be very special.
Would love it if the hotel has an indoor heated pool...Aaron loves the water and will be a good way to relax him and get rid of the last bits of energy.
    Includes breakfast
Room has spa(first preg all I wanted to do was to submerge in water at the end of the day to take the weight off)
    Clean and safe room
    Close to all attractions.
    $200 or less a night

If anyone can come up with any ideas it would be great to hear them.

    Thanks
    Sus

i was going to make the same suggestion - we've always booked via wotif - have stayed at some really nice places, but mostly a bit over the $200 mark - and have never had to stay in a room set up for a family so can't comment

i HAVE stayed in a motel (not in melbourne) where the spa was in the room so you could watch the tv while you were in the spa - and it was awesome!

i'd probably trust the feedback that you found though in regard to reviews... would hate for you to go on holidays and end up with dud accommodation!

Thanks will have a look at that site today.
Trip advisor is quite good to see what people think of the place and also sometimes has pictures of the place taken by an everyday snapper so you can get a true look at what its like.
Its just very hard to choose when there are so many hotels in Melbourne all with beautiful pictures of their rooms boasting all deluxe features and as we are going to be there for a week I dont want to be stuck in some dump.

    Thanks
