Oh, and FYI - Dubbo Maccas is the best place to stop for breakfast - best McDs breakkie going - and they also happen to have the BEST chocolate thickshakes in the country lol true story!!

OOhh, if you go the inland way, I'm about half way from Syd to Brissy, and if I get the house I'm after, you could crash a night here, with practically a house to yourself!!

I'm take option 1 if you've got the time to take it slow and enjoy the boat/road trip, you'll see heaps more and it can be really fun! Or option fly directly to Brisbane, just bite the bullet, take a relaxant, learn some breathing techniques, pack load of snack to eat etc Good luck and enjoy your holiday

given your situaton Mel with the panic attacks i definitely wouldn't go #2 ... as for #1 OMG that would be grueling driving that far with 3 littles ...

............... So that leaves #3 (and i can get to Melb within just over an hour )
