    Question skiing in NZ

    Has anyone been skiing in NZ?
    I'm trying to book a holiday for DH and I in early August and I thought that since none of us have been NZ might be nice option.

    I havent been snow skiing, but the Queenstown area is just awesome... ...

    DH & I went to NZ for our honeymoon. We hired a campervan and travelled around the South Island. We went skiing at Queenstown (The Remarkables) and it was awesome. Skiing is quite expensive, particularly hiring all the gear. Travelling around in a campervan was quite cheap though.

    We ended up going to Persiher - it's only 5 hours drive away and even though the skiing is more expensive we saved on airfare so it worked out about the same.
