Tell me about the snow

Ok coming from CQ Boyne Island.. . We will be camping, No plans to ski but we want to toboggan, have a snow ball fight and make snow angels lol.. Not sure on how many days but will be 7-9 I imagine..

We need to go on QLD school holidays (22nd June to 9th July) due to DS1 starting high school.. Hence the reason we have canned our cape trip With the dates we had to do the trip the kids would have missed most of term 3.. anyways..

Camping as in tents? You would need to have all the appropraite gear for very cold weather camping, normal tents/sleeping bags etc won't cut it.

There are two caravan/camp grounds in Jindy, maybe look at a caravan where you will have more walmth and protection from the elements.

You can toboggan for no cost at Perisher but there is a entrance fee to the National Park which I think alst year was $28 per day per car.
