all i have heard are stories of horror with delays with Tiger. and TBH they were all out of Canberra (loads of friends etc that live there). i guess if the price was really really good i'd consider, but then again, i find airports and flying so annoying that i just dont think i would want to bother with narky customer service stricto policy...especially travelling with kidlets and their 'surprises'.
out of the domestic carriers for travelling with kids i found virgin to be the most flexible...

Depends on when in June. If its the long weekend all will put up their prices. Keep an eye out on webjet as this compares airline prices.
Makes sure you check where the flight is leaving from as I think Jetstar only flies from Avalon to Brisbane.
Also don't get caught with the baggage fee. There are two prices, one with baggage, one without.

Thanks everyone....have made up my mind now and it seems that if I go a little later that I'll have more time so to speak to get there just in case.
Yes realise there are baggage charges ect...have taken that all into accountbut would rather stick to a more 'reliable' carrier.

Oh good God, I'm travelling with Tiger from Singapore to Perth in 3 weeks! EEEK I'm scared now! 30 weeks preg with a toddler!!!

People from the cheersquad used to fly tiger. They were always delayed and it might be a cheap ticket but if you take more luggage than you are allowed you'll be slugged more. Id go with one of the other 2 airlines
