Tips for plane travel with a 6month old

We are heading to NZ next wk to see all the family and i'm hoping that you lovely ladies will share all your good tips with me for travelling with a 6 month old bubba.

I have read about feeding at take off and landing. Can I give a lollypop to suck on?? We'll be watching her so she wouldn't be abel to choke on it???? and she can't bite it yet??

flight is 3 hours so go on ladies... send your suggestions this way

i would not recommend a lollypop as that is EXCESSIVE sugar for a baby of 6 months, a BF or bottle is all that is needed as it is the sucking and swallowing that helps.

    Good luck

I used either the dummy or his bottle and I took a book and 2 toys in my carry on for him. It makes it a much easier flight. Good luck darl

Id recommend a boob or a bottle if you arent using a dummy.
    Or maybe teething ring?

Or those little pouch feeder things, you could put mashed veg or something like that in there if you have started solids.

Oh RayRay.. i like the pouch feeder idea. I have a flight with DS later this month. And I totally forgot about take off and landing...

Jenni, can you let me know how you get on, and any tips you get from your trip.
