Since this thread has been bumped..

I am 4.5 weeks away from going on my dream holiday!! A two week kid-free road trip in the USA Starting in Las Vegas then making our way to Tijuana then up the pacific coast to San Francisco.

And it seems I am doing my kids trip later in the year as well - I have always wanted to take them to Australia for a week or so and the current plan is to go to Sydney for Christmas. Except in my dream the city is half empty, minimal traffic and the queues are short

I think I would go to the south of France. Never been there, but was looking at pictures the other day and it looked lovely.
