We have a smallish backyard but big enough for kicking a ball around, and also our balcony is huge, so it's really like having a backyard. It's big enough for them to have a trampoline and ride their bikes around. DH is the one home with them after school etc and they do the park usually once a week at least (they walk past it on the way home from school/kindy anyway so hard to say no!!), and on weekends we do the park a lot also. But on days when the park is too wet etc they seem to manage ok here.
My other option i'm throwing around is sharing a big (6 bed) house with a friend of mine who also has 3 kids eeeek! But only share care...I don't know...we'll see lol! But I have found an awesome 4 level, 5 bed house with three living areas ad a pool for $600. So $300 each sounds pretty good lol!
i recently moved from a 4 bed to a 3 bed place. i found that i had a reason to go threw everything, im usualy the type of person who cant get rid of things unless there on there very last legs. but this place has smaller rooms, so its easier for me to decide what stays and what goes,(as we dont have excess space) it is easier to clean, and easier to put everything in oit place (still working on this bit!) i also can hear the boys in there room at night at the other end of the house, so they cant play up and get away with it!!
i was thinking of getting a larger place and sharing with mum n my sister, but they would always be there, and it would never realy be my place kwim?
