    Benefits of downsizing?

In a couple of months when my lease runs out i'm going to be moving from a 4 bed house to a 3 bed unit. I'm hoping it'll have a garden for the tramp but thats about all i'm looking for.

So I want to think of all the positives about down sizing...who's done it?

Girls will share a room - building a stronger bond.
    Less space - less junk!
Less space - easier to keep clean...

    Any more?

    Easier to cool and warm.

Easier to fill and make it look cosy.

More family time as less space to retreat.

    Cheaper so more $$.

save money on power bills (less rooms = less lights/power points, less space to heat & cool)
    Nice and cosy?!
And yep, less time cleaning and more time doing the things you want!

We have never looked back since going from a 5 bedroom large house to a 3 bdr apartment. It is so easy to clean and I always know when the boys are up to mischief I think it makes us closer as a family. It saves money and cleaning time and it's a great feeling giving away and selling stuff you can no longer fit in. You'll be fine hun

So MR are you in an apartment without a garden? How do the kids find it? Do you find you have to go out more, like to the park etc?
