    inertia - thank you! I had no idea they still made kero heaters!!!

    Tinkerbell - had really considered having a built in heater. I'm thinking not in Brissie but I could be wrong - has been a while since we lived there - def something to think about

    The best heater I ever had was split system ducted. It was love.

    It was really expensive too.

    Most places in Brissy don't have one. Not like Melbs where every house has one!

    The ceramic base column ones are very efficient and hold the heat for ages, but I don't think they're very kid friendly, as the base heats up.

    Split systems are fantastic. Ours heats our whole house really well but I only really use it for heating in between seasons. It keeps our whole house at 24 degrees during summer too - even on 46 degree days! One of those would probably be good for Brisbane.
