    Thanks everyone We've actually sourced a really good environmentally friendly solution. Going to check it out, but it's roughly half the price of wood. Works out to be about $6/18kgs. The energy rating vs normal wood/electricity/gas also works out to be the cheapest too.

    Well more environmentally friendlier then regular fire wood There's still emissions, but it's recycled wood from a flooring company that burns more efficiently and is made using off cuts rather than wood specifically cut for fire wood.
