Cold callers

we have a silent number (it's free with our provider...) and we're on the Do Not Call register for both our landline and mobiles.

the only place I get calls from is the blood bank (no, I haven't donated in over a year - because I was pregnant and then surgery, which I told you last month, and the month before, and the month before, and ...) and my bank (gah!!) and someone from Priceline wanting me to get life insurance with them (WTF???)

but no cold calls

None. We only have a VOIP phone though, maybe that's why?

Shame... I like messing around with them.

I'm on the do not call register, and we have only had a couple of calls since we registered. I usually ask for the company name and then explain that I need it when I inform the do not call register that they have called me, and they hang up super fast

we get them from time to time. i listen. then pop the phone infront of the telly or pat the cat. they dont seem to like "purrrrrr" as a responce or "I dont know who the father is" haha.

a bloke down the road from me is Indian he picks up the phone and if its an Indian caller...he goes on and on about his master and cannot speak his native toung. its friggin' classic. or "hello i do not want to talk to you. unless your family. if your selling some thing hang up and try, try, try again"
