Red face I don't understand the Goody Guys 'Less for Cash' offer...?

    I don't get it! LOL!

Well, whats considered cash? I always thought it was just that - cash or using your savings or whatever. I thought credit cards weren't cash.

But Shel and I put a few things on the CC (washing machine and dryer) and we still got their 'less for cash' price. In fact, they never asked, they just gave it.

Do they ever NOT do a deal? I'm confused LOL

As far as I understand is that if you are paying in full on the spot no matterhow is cash, eftpos or CC.

I think if laybe or finance needed they wont give here cheaper price.

gee they must have been really Good guys, cos we went to ones in brisbane once, and they wouldn't give us the "less for cash" price because we wanted to pay with a credit card.

We refused to pay the other price, and it went through their management, and we were ready to leave (our argument being that it is basically cash for them) and eventually they gave it to us.

When we got a tv recently from good guys, I said to them that Harveys had offered me a deal that was $150 less and they matched it. I hadnt even been into Harveys and my mum put it on amex.

I think there is so much competition out there that if you are confident and know what you want they will offer you a discount as they work on commission.

Dont worry Leash, You arent a blunt tool! They have just changed since they first started it.

Their discount isn't really that great, I know it's better than no discount at all. We spent over $500 and paid cash and only got $10 off.
